Role Overview
We are seeking a core PHP Developer to join our backend systems team. You will be responsible for scaling our examination engine, building clean API endpoints, and implementing secure scoring algorithms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clean, maintainable, and high-performance backend logic in PHP.
- Design, write, and optimize complex relational SQL databases and indexing.
- Integrate third-party payment gateways, SMS portals, and secure cloud storage APIs.
- Identify and refactor bottlenecks in the examination logging and submission scripts.
- Work closely with security teams to audit backend code for vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in core PHP development and database management.
- Advanced knowledge of MySQL database design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and RESTful API integrations.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and performance profiling tools.
